San Marino
San Marino
on the top of Mount Titano the city of San Marino is the capital of one of the world's smallest republics. Its village, accessible by four "doors", contains the most important points of interest: the three "feathers", or the medieval towers, a symbol of San Marino, the Basilica of the Holy which houses the relics of the founder of the country, the Monastery Santa Chiara, the Gate and the Church of San Francesco, the Contrada Umbrellas and the Piazzetta of Titan. Finally stands Freedom Square, where there is the Public Palace and a beautiful panoramic terrace.
